Effective, enjoyable, and easy to use, this set of four grammar stories about events in the Winter Games is helpful and motivating. No teacher preparation is necessary because all Answer Keys include explanations for every correction.
Each one-page story addresses most common grammatical errors (subject--verb agreement, apostrophe, capitalization, punctuation, homophones, and irregular verbs, irregular plurals, and spelling) while relating the information about events in the Winter Games. All stories have an Answer Key, + an explanation for each correction. A Writing Prompt and a Corrected Version in paragraph form have also been added. Simple to use and to grade, if desired, the stories have sentences with only one grammatical error in each sentence. Students enjoy trying to find the errors. Every story includes an Answer Key, plus an explanation for each correction. A short Writing Prompt has been added for extra credit, as well as a Corrected Version in Paragraph Form.
